Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to predict who would win the World Series, the Super Bowl, the upcoming election…How about being able to predict the WIND?
This nice article from the Wall Street Journal Blog ENVIRONMENTAL CAPITAL discusses some emerging technology: Predicting the Wind: A New Forecasting Tool for Wind Power . Apparently WSI and EnvaPower are aiming to provide “what they call a best-in-class forecasting service for energy traders and power companies”.
